Volunteers

There are many valuable resources online for genealogical volunteers. Having volunteered myself for a project or two ;) I can attest to how easy it is to do, and how good it feels to help someone locate a missing record, relative or newspaper clipping.
Check out ROAGK for many Essex County Volunteers who are willing to do various look-ups, cemetery photos, etc. Also take some time to consider offering a small amount of your own time for whatever location you are able to search. You may be surprised how little time it takes !

ANDOVER VOLUNTEERS
If you have access to books, records, cemeteries, photos, ship passenger lists, census records, etc. which does or may relate to ancestors from Andover, and are willing to do look-ups for folks, please drop me a line and let me know so we can start a list of folks willing to look for data for other researchers who may not be local.

USGENWEB
USGenWeb Projects are also a wonderful opportunity to volunteer your time in transcribing records. There are currently several large projects ongoing. The Tombstone Inscription Project, Census Records and Obituaries to name a few.
