Report of Town Meeting Nov 24, 1662
At a lawful town meeting the 24 Nov, 1662, granted to Ralph Farnum, 30 rod of land at the south end of his lot.
Granted to Andrew Foster, eleven acres of land on the east side of the highway and on the southwest side of the land of Timothy Stevens.
Granted to John Ruse, three acres of land adjoining to his nine acres by that new field gate, which is for his new field division.
Report of Town Meeting Feb 11, 1663
At a lawful town meeting the 11 of February 1663, granted to William Chandler a gore of land on the east (?) Side of Shawshin River, by the old clay pit, whereof two acres is granted to him for public charges and if there be above two acres, he is to allow the town for it what they shall so meet and in case, the town shall afterward see occasion to build a mill there, he shall resign to them so much of the convenience of it as shall be judged convenient to set a mill, thereon, and allow him so much land elsewhere for it.
Granted to John Frye, Jr., two acres and a half of swamp land at the southwest corner of his lot for public charges past, and four shillings and fourpence now paid already.
Granted to Andrew Foster senior, five acres of swamp land for public charges joining to the northeast side of the lot of Andrew Foster, jr., in case John Lovejoy, Thomas Chandler and Thomas Johnson, who are to lay it out, shall think it convenient for the town and him: whereas he is take it elsewhere. This grant is allowed by this town.
Report of Town Meeting Dec 28, 1663
At a lawful town meeting the 28 December, 1663, granted to Robert Russell two acres of meadow in a little meadow about half a mile on this side of Richard Barker's Beechen meadow on the left hand of the cartway.
Report of Town Meeting Feb 4, 1667
At a general town meeting the 4th of February 1667.
Whereas there was by the town the 15th of January 65 sold until Samuel Blanchard a parcel of land not exceeding town acres, he hath at this present meeting accepted of just ten acres for which he is indebted to the town the full and just sum of fifty shillings. Granted to him 9th Feb 68, two acres more to make it twelve acres for all which he is to pay but fifty shillings to the town.
Granted to Stephen Johnson two rod of land adjoining to his fence and by his saw pit.
Report of Town Meeting January 10, 1669
At a general town meeting the 10th of January 1669.
Whereas there have been formerly granted to Edward Whitington twenty acres of land behind the pond, it is now granted him liberty he laying it down to the town to take up so much on the west side of Shawshin River and also to take up ten acres more adjoining to it as part of Mr. Bradstreet's last division.
The twenty acres above is granted upon the same terms as that behind the pond.
Report of Town Meeting January 1, 1671
At a general town meeting the first of January 1671, Mr. Bradstreet, Lt. Osgood, Richard Barker, John Stevens and John Frye junior are chosen selectmen for the year ensuing.
Thomas Farnum is chosen grand juryman for the ensuing year.
Whereof there was formerly granted to Edward Whittington, twenty acres of land on the west side of the Shawshin River, he hath now liberty to lay it down and to take up so much on this side of the river about three miles from the town in some place that may not be prejudicial to other men and to have the same privilege as the other grants, he paying ten shillings by the year to the town.
Granted liberty to Steven Johnson to make use of so much old cedar timber that is down as well as will make twenty thousand of shingles, he paying the town for it.
Sgt. Ingalls is empowered by the town to cause to be brought to Mr. Dane, all his rates and wood and to sue or distain upon any that shall neglect or be behind.
Granted liberty to Henry Ingalls to lay down his three acres of swamp land at back end of his lot and to take up so much joining to his other land at the pond.
Report of Town Meeting February 3, 1672
At a general town meeting the 3 February 1672, it is agreed that the selectmen shall place all persons in such seats as they see meet.
William Chandler is chosen grand juryman for the ensuing year.
It is ordered that whatsoever dogs be in the meetinghouse on the Sabbath Day, the owners thereof shall pay six pence for every time being there and George Abbot Jr is appointed to take notice thereof and to have the pay for his pains and to gather it up.
Granted liberty to Steven Johnson to make ten thousand shingles of cedar already cut down and to dispose of them as he see good and not to pay anything to the town for them.
Report of Town Meeting February 5, 1673
At a general town meeting the 5 January 1673, Mr Dudley Bradstreet, Lt. Osgood, Richard Barker, Ensign Chandler, John Stevens, are chosen selectmen for this ensuing year.
Samuel Martin is chosen constable for this ensuing year.
Steven Johnson is chosen grand juryman for this ensuing year.
It is ordered that if any man shall speak in the town meeting after silence commanded twice by the moderator, shall forfeit twelve pence.
Dudley Bradstreet is chosen clerk of the writs and of the town, and likewise to record all grants laid out on the town books.
Report of Town Meeting
There is no date on this one, but the one below it is from Sept 1675
Sold and granted to John Abbott twenty acres of land between goodman Fosters ground and Joseph Ballards or thereabouts so it prejudice not other men, and to enjoy to him and his heirs forever, paying to the town or Church towards all charges the sum of ten shillings yearly and the said John Abbot is received as a townman and to have the liberty and privilege of the common for feeding cattle and use of wood and timber as his occasions may require.
Sold or granted to William Blunt or exchanged for a sale of grant he had before over Shawshin, twenty acres of land in some convenient place near Joseph Ballards and to enjoy to him and his heirs forever, paying to the town or Church the sum of ten shillings yearly and the said William Blunt is received as a townsman and to have liberty and privilege of the common for feeding cattle and use of wood and timber as his occasion may require.
Granted to Samuel Holt one acre privilege upon the common, he paying four shillings by the year to the town forever.
Sold or granted to Hugh Stone four acres of land near to his other land, not to the prejudice of highways or other men, to enjoy to him and his heirs forever, he paying two shillings by the year to the town forever.

Received of Nathan Parker and Jno Lovejoy Constable for Andover in full of their double rate ye sum of thirty-six pounds and five pence I say received ye day above dated by me.

Srgt Ephraim Steevens & Joseph Steevens, Corpll George Abbott & William Lovejoy are chosen surveyors for ye year ensuing.
Srgt Jno Aslebe & Sgt Jno Bridges & Francis Dane & Nehemiah Abbott are chosen tithing men for ye year ensuing.

Corpll George Abbott is chosen leather sealer for ye year ensuing.
Benjamin Steevens, Saml Marble, John Marstone junr, Jno Ballard, Benjamin Abbott & Jno Steevens are chosen Howards or field drivers for ye year ensuing.
Benjamin Barker is chosen pound keeper for ye year ensuing for ye north and of ye towne.
William Johnson is chosen pound keeper for ye south end of ye towne for the ensuing year.
Benjamin Steevens & John Ballard are chosen to inquire of ye clerk what horses are entered to goe upon ye common.
Voted & passed that whereas severall of Boxford & other places have illegally taken several trees out of ye towne bounds that sd persons shall be prosecuted att ye law next inferior court of common pleas in this county; or as soon as may be:
Srgt John Bridges was chosen together with Srgt John or either of them Aslebe to sue any such persons, by themselves or by an attorney, or to compound and agree with sd person always having respect to ye town order about.....[ rest of page is missing]
