Around the corner from his brother Benjamin's house, on Andover Street, stands Thomas Abbot's homestead. Both of these Abbot homes were built by the Abbot men and are still in good original condition, including the original kitchen, according to a survey done some years ago of these ancient homes. This home was in the Abbot family for many many years. The photo below shows a closer image of the house itself.
Argilla Road connects to Andover Street just below this property off the right side of this photo. Continue past the house, and the street is a long, narrow road leading uphill, to many new streets and upscale homes which are found throughout Andover today.
